Waimea Canyon is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. Just like a huge valley, a crack in a mountain, a fractured and scarred valley. Just an amazing sight. Kalalau Lookout is another one of these incredibly beautiful places on Kauai. Just beautiful. I will not write too many words about it. Just look at the pictures and you will understand me.... Kauai's famous red dirt is a product of Kauai's volcanic past and the climate. Iron rich volcanic soils and lots of rain produce red dirt by iron oxide.
