Journey to USA

We left Cofton Church Lane when our taxi arrived at 9.00 and had a smooth trip to Heathrow on Train and Bus via Watford.

After going through security checks which included removing our shoes (eventually it will probably be a requirement to take all your clothes off) and taking the laptop out of its case, we boarded the aircraft on time but our takeoff slot was delayed so we were an hour late leaving.

This gave us very little time to change planes at Chicago including moving to a different terminal. But with help from some of the airport staff both us and our luggage made it and James was at the luggage carousel at Atlanta to whisk us away to the house where we had a very warm welcome at 11.30 local time from Bobbie and the dogs.

Its lovely to see them again after a break of over two years
