Driving the rig
We finally hit some sun in Colorado. They have not had the flood problems here. The drive to the foot hills of the Rockies was beautiful.

Kansas was green and flat. I'm sure there are some nice views, somewhere.

We arrived at Canon City, CO around 6 pm Mountain time. The campgroud is gorgeous and has a spectacular view of Royal Gorge. There is a suspension bridge (see in the background) and is seen through the front window of the RV. We will be taking a train ride in the valley (Colorado Springs to Pueblo) where we can stand on an outside deck and take in the views. Later in the day, it is off to the suspension bridge. Look for some great pics tomorrow.

Fred and Ethel are traveling well despite being cooped up. So far, we are still talking and laughing but it is only day 2.

More tomorrow.
