Beautiful scenery and snow covered mountains
We drove the back road 128 from Moab - up about 20 miles of beautiful canyon along the Colorado River - then out to the open range where we had to wait for a couple cattle to cross the road! That night was spent in Colorado River Park in Palisade and of course Ernie had to get some rocks out of the Colorado River. He also picked up lots of sand! Nice fire and a bright moon, warm weather in the morning. Then on to Breckenridge from the nice warm weather to 9600 ft. Went to see our land in Fairplay and we found out why we built in NH - it was 33 and snowing! Did have a great meal at Silverheels - the first place we dined when we stayed out here 11 yrs ago - still DELICIOUS! Pork green chili, muffins with raspberry butter, trout with cornbread and crab stuffing, salmon sonora (the inspiration for the salmon we make), and flan for dessert. On to Colorado Springs tomorrow. We'll be visiting my cousin and wife there and my nephew and wife in Boulder and then home to NH. This trip was fantastic, the trailer is very comfortable for
TOO COLD!TOO COLD!TOO COLD!

My poor fence that was so beautiful!
the 3 of us (although Ernie doesn't get to run around the house), but home will feel very good - back to trees, flowers and grass! See you pretty soon
