Walking the boardwalk

We got up early,left San Francisco and drove down the highway towards Carmel. We stopped off at Santa Cruz on the way. The sun was shining and the weather was 'typical California'. We picked up some ice cream and spent a little time on the beach. There were some fairground rides there however strangely most of them were closed and the place was very scarce of people. There was a indoor mini-golf course which kept us entertained for a while. It was pirate themed and there was an impressive glow in the dark section. Santa Cruz seemed like a nice place and the Boardwalk is worth a visit.

We then drove on towards Carmel.
