OK first of all I must say that I have seen at least 50 limousines tonight just by walking from Hollywood Bvld to our hotel 5 minutes away. There’s a Rod Steward and Stevie Nicks concert on at the Hollywood Bowl just up from our hotel. An empty block next to the hotel is selling parking spots for $40 and there are sculpors on the street selling tickets.

Anyway, arrived at 9am at Universal Studios to spend the day there. First to the behind the studio tour which was really good - defiantly a must do if your there! Just watch out for the unexpected surprises that jump at you along the way. The Simpson’s ride was my favourite by far. A virtual rollercoaster. Also the Jurassic park ride, the plunge down a 84-foot vertical drop waterfall was fun.

Left the park at about 3.30 and took the metro to Hollywood and Highlands on Hollywood boulevard. Searched the shops for a while and bought my first “Guess” Top. Sat in Starbucks for a while. Explored the Roosevelt Hotel. Then went to dinner at “Johnny Rockets” More typical American Food. Ate what they call an entrée and couldn’t finish it.

Tomorrow we are off to New York City!
