Day 74: Long Beach LA - Cruise Day

Packing again we caught the shuttle to Long Beach Port and arrived around 10.00 and joined the 3000 other passengers in the hustle and bustle to get checked in, baggage stowed and stateroom keys issued. We finally boarded around 12.30 and as we couldn’t get access to our room until 2.00 it was time to explore and check out the boats lunch service. The ship is absolutely huge some 11 stories high and full off everything the heart could desire. Lunch was splendid and after getting to the room it was time for a quick change and then out to the pool. Dinner that night was at the Black Pearl restaurant and set the standard for the days to come. The food aboard the ship is just fantastic and runs 24 hours a day.
