Phoenix & Tempe

I got up around 8.30 am this morning, i would have prefered to have slept longer, but it seems of recent weeks that i seem to be a really light sleeper and i tend to get up early, so i was still full of cold and took my multi vitamin and puffs from my steroid in haler for my asthma ( i have to take 4 puffs a day) and the alkseltzer cold tabs and after breakfast my malaria pills as i have to start them a week before i hit Central America.

I showered and then helped Larry move and plumb a replacement washing machine in as the last one broke and washed and dried some of my stuff and then i uploaded some more pics and after a while me Larry,Julie and Trisha headed out to Tempe so we could get a bite to eat.

We met another CSer called Tom and we eat at a nice vietnamese place called dragon fly and just off Mill Ave, we eat and chatted and i had a veggie spring bowl and an iced green tea. After we finished the meal Tom had to shoot off and larry went to

work, me,Trisha and Julie headed back to the pick up and drove over to Papago mountains and climbed up and took some pictures.

After a Little while we headed back to the truck and discovered it would not start and after trying to jump start we had no joy, and Julie phoned triple AAA for a recovery and then Trisha's friend David turned up and he found one of the battery cables was loose and then we got the truck going and by then it was getting late and Julie decided she would hire a car from Hertz and we had to wait a while there and in the mean time trisha went to pick up Larry.

I then got a lift back with Julie in the rental car and we took a spin and took some pics of the sunset and then we headed back to Larrys, soon after we got back Larry, trisha and the kids got back. i decided to grab a shower and feel a little fresher as i have to catch my train at 2.30am ....ouch, so all in all a very unsucessful day😞
