How Time Flies When Having Fun

Up and at it early. I got the walls up for the utility shelter. I had coffee while working on it. It was cooler for the morning but warmed up to 99 F (37 C) by 12 noon. Jan made a great breakfast...bacon, eggs, hash browns with toast and jam. We were able to hook up the generator to recharge our large battery. We went over to Slim's place for cherry pie and visited for several hours. We went to the Meditation Circle which is part of the Dolan Springs hiking trail system, after having a late lunch of salad at Canyon Cafe. Came home and Jan made yams and green beans to go with my barbecued pork chops and garlic toast. It was the first barbecue of the season. This is also Jim's last night with us. We had planned to go to Havasu to see the London Bridge but there is a big brush fire in the area, so we are opting to visit Bill and Cindy at the horse rescue ranch. How time flies .... it's Kathryn's birthday today. She is 26 years old.
