We arrived back in Anchorage early afternoon. Somehow I was still bursting with energy, so I convinced Chris into biking the Tony Knowles Coastal Trial with me. We passed by mudflats and parks, through woods, nearly got run over by other bikers and finally ended up by the airport. We probably sat on that bench for a good half hour, watching the airplanes take off right over our heads. It felt like the whole world shook each time- it was thrilling.
That night we ate dinner at a nice seafood restaurant, and I finally took a shower. Good thing I don't tend to smell until after four or five days. =D
Our flight home was much less eventful.
