Well, the journey has begun. My sweetie dropped me off at the airport at around 6AM and I breezed through Anchorage security. Our flight left on time and the flight was reasonably non-eventful, with only a 30 minute delay for landing due to thunderstorms in the Chicago area. Luggage was delayed as well due to lightening strikes, but by 6:30PM (all times will be referenced in local time zones) I was on the shuttle to the Ohare Gardens Hotel, which is located close to the airport.
