Mexico
nice beach in CancunAfter a little stressful time in New York we were glad being able to relax at the nice beaches of Cancun, Mexico. The eastcoast is famous for its beautiful beaches and ancient buildings from the mayan people. We made some daytrips to interesting spots like the old mayan city Tulum and Chichen Itza which belongs to the new wonders of the world. On another trip we went to a natural fun park called Xcaret which offered a lot of animals, demonstrations of old mayan rituals and a really refreshing underwater river (17 degrees farenheit).
Guadalajara (Yes a city name with 5 a's in it 😉
Guadalajara is a nice town south west from Mexico city and it has also nice old buildings in its downtown. Special thanks to Javier and his parents for driving us around and that we could stay with them 😊

nice beach in Cancun interesting to see the capitol city and the beauftiul buldings in downtown. Escpecially the preperations for the mexican independence day (15'th of speptember) looked nice. But beside these things the nightlife was also funny. Mexico has a lot of clubs and bars where you can go. Thanks to Gonzalo and his family for the nice time we spent with them 😊
What we can say about Mexico Mexico is a nice country which offers an old interesting culture brought by the mayan people. It has huge forests that look like (and probably are) rainforests as well as mountains and seas. The country is really big and there are more things to be seen - so we have to come back anytime.
And at least - our visit wasn't really dangerous. Sure you should watch your belongins in every city and especially in every big croud of people. But we weren't really bothered at any time except from people asking for money.
