Friday, March 8th, we began our northbound trek. We again stopped at Maruata. We pulled into town at about 3:00 p.m. Village kids, recognizing our rig waved and ran along side as we drove through the town. Senor Juantino Chavez, seemed genuinely glad to see us return. Not sure if the lack of turtles was due to high surf or time of year.

The warm tortillas are served in a plastic bag. We got so many we thot she had made a mistake but then watching other diners eat as many as they liked then our hostess put the remainder in her warm "cooler". Boy, that wouldn't be allowed in the U.S.

As a result, we had a somewhat harrowing tour of a small town.

Aloha Marcia, Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed your blog. Sounds like you & Ray are having a great time. Those kids are so cute -- you can never have enough pictures!
