Meeting Sit # 2 Folks

We have this feeding routine down to a science. First, the hummingbirds have to get their daily fix, two feeders full of 4 to 1 sugar water, 2 bottles.

Then, the pups remind us vociferously that it is time for their chow. In the morning, it is all dry and the predicted response is – meh. In the evening, they get canned food mixed in and I have yet to see a speck go to waste.

So, today, we are meeting the folks that we are replacing for our second house sit. Actually, while writing this, we have already met. What delightful people. I will post a link to their blog if I can get some Internet later tonight maybe.(https://reidsontheroad2018.wordpress.com/ ) It is not cooperating with us today and I am writing this as a Word document so I can just copy/paste IF I get a connection. Most Internet apps are working okay but I think these blogs use a lot of bandwidth and they do not always load easily.

We met at The lake Chapala Society café. Rose and I finished up our refreshments and we mounted up for the drive to Jocotecpec. We were planning on having lunch at the Restaurant Viva Mexico Tia Lupita in Jocotepec. This place is highly recommended, food was great, Margaritas were super and the prices very reasonable. We had a nice lunch and a great conversation. Then, we all went to the house where we will be staying and got thoroughly checked out. We also met Frida, our new charge, not to mention a pretty cool pup.

On the way home, we stopped at Walmart, grabbed some vinos and other important stuff, then made our way down the carretera stopping at Super Enciso for a roasted chicken dinner to take home. Pretty good pollo!
