Feb 4th travelled from Mazatlan to Durango. the new highway 40 goes to an Elevation of 6000 feet crossing over 115 bridges and through 63 tunnels. The highest suspension bridge in the world the ''Balurte'' bridge is 3600 feet in length . Durango is a mid size dessert city built in 1940. Used to film many western movies.
