My buddy Steve and I embarked on a two-week, 6,482-mile ride from New York City to Banff (Canada) and back. Our route took us throught the Adirondacks to Montreal, then along the northen coasts of the Great Lakes to Thunder Bay, then accross the plains of Manitoba and Saskatchewan to Calgary. After a weekend in Lake Louise, Alberta, we rode south along the Canadian Rockies to Montana and then Wyoming. Then we headed East through the Badlands of South Dakota and then through the plain states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio before hustling through Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It was an amazing journey featuring sights and sounds that will stay with me forever.
