Yes folks, welcome to the last entry in our Travel Blog, or is it? Before we say our farewells, best that we fill you in on our last week here in Canada.

We have had a pretty quiet week by our standards. We did quite a bit of walking around Toronto. Joy you'd be pleased with us as we averaged over 5miles most days. On Monday we went out for drinks with Tom, whom we met last Friday, and his good lady Bridget, ending up listening to a good band in a nearby pub. After another long walk on Wednesday we had a bit of a pub crawl again ending up listening to a really good band in a small bar. Wonderful for Ken, cos the lead singer was a combination look alike of a young Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, the music was equally as good.

Thursday saw us renting a car and heading off to what has to be one of the top five visits (see our highlight section farther on) of our trip - the wonderous Niagara Falls. And one Linda particularly wanted to do! Like other places we have been to, words cannot do it

justice (none that are in my vocabulary anyway!) We had a sunny cloudless day to bask in this magnificent creation of nature. We were thouroughly overawed by the falls' power and grandeur. We took a ride in the Sky Wheel, their equivalent to the London Eye, which afforded great views of the falls.

We had earlier visited the quaintest of little towns - Niagara-by-the-Lake. The place was just choc-a-block with small shops selling every thing under the sun. From cinema memorabilia, to one shop which sold nothing but Christmas merchandise, to one named, The Wee Scottish Loft, which sold all things tartan, including bottles of Irn Bru!!

Yesterday was another lazy day, due mainly to the seriously horrible weather. We ventured out mid afternoon to what must be one of the biggest shopping malls we have been in. This found us buying last minute gifts - for ourselves! and others.

The time has now come to say our goodbyes and remember some of the highlights, and some of the people who have made this truly a trip of a lifetime.

A trip where we have flown over 16,000 miles. Traveled by train, boat, car and bus
