I woke up in the morning to the strong smell of weed, this was something I thought that I could smell throughout the night as well. Alex told me that he and Grant had purchased some the previous evening and that I should go and deliver this to him. I went up to Grant's room and he wanted nothing to do with it and tried to flush it down the toilet however, on the first attempt it came straight back up and he had to cover it in toilet paper for it to go down! It also turned out that Grant had paid another $15 to an uber taxi which had already been paid for, the taxi driver probably couldn't believe his luck! No-one really had much nice things to say about the club that they went to so I did not miss out on anything there.
For breakfast we decided to head to Javas which was one of the bars that we had been to the previous evening as Kyla had recommended the food in there. On the way Alex kicked a can of orange juice over Jack which added another classic moment for him on this
trip. In Java Harv managed to spill all of the ice from his water over Alex as well which made it a great start to the day for everyone! The food was good in Javas and it had a really unusual layout as to get to the toilet you had to walk through the kitchen to get there; it felt wrong to walk through there while cooking to get to a toilet. After Javas Jake wanted to head to the Toronto Blue Jays shop store as he really wanted to get himself a hat but as far as I can remember he did not get one that day. Hooters was just down the road and I had wanted to go in there last time I had visited the states but never got the chance and it did not disappoint. We spent most of the afternoon in there as the beer wasn't too pricey and they had football on.
We stayed around the CN tower area as we had the pass to go up to the skypod included with our edgewalk package. For the first time on the whole trip the weather had let us down it rained
all day and meant that the view at the top of the CN tower was really obscured. However, when the clouds did clear we got an excellent view out of the whole of Toronto I was just glad that we had the great weather the day before when we did the edgewalk. The Air Canada centre was 5 minutes down the road so I thought it would be a good idea to have a look around there but unfortunately it was closed that day and as a result went to look for somewhere to eat. When doing the edgewalk we had been recommended to visit a really old brewery that was closed by but that was also closed so we were not having a lot of luck. There was a sports bar pretty close by where we all ordered an absolute tonne of wings which were really good and the price was very reasonable, they also had some decent sport on as well.
As it was our last evening in Toronto we decided to head back to Dukes as we had a great night in there 2 days before and stayed there for a couple of drinks
before heading back to the hotel as it was quite a lengthy drive to Montreal the next day. I had really enjoyed Toronto and it was a shame we only had such a short time to explore the city the only thing that I was quite disappointed about was we did not try any decent restaurants while we were there and spent most of our time eating in sports bars. As before we had gone I had looked up a load of really good places to eat in the area.
