Not a lot to talk about today. Early start (up at 5.30am) and on the road to Canada. Drove through some hills and lovely river (with a Red Indian name but I don't remember it at the moment).
Thought I'd try listening to my IPod today...to help pass the time....but I swear that every time I started to use it Linda (tour director) was start to talk. Gave up in the end.
Anyway, crossed the border at about 4.30pm, passed through customs fairly quickly and in hotel by about 5.15pm then out to dinner 6.00pm. We headed off to a winery and had a few tastings before-hand. Tried an 'ice-wine' which is a very sweet dessert wine...not really my taste.
Had first glimpse of the Falls. Pretty spectacular but was a fair bit of mist so not a clear view. Heading off there in the morning and if the weather is fine will be doing a helicopter flight - won't know until the morning.
So that's it for now.
Cheers.
