"I've tried everything I know, to try and make you mine

And I think I'm going to love you for a long, long time"

Linda Ronstadt started us off on a long days' drive from Charlottetown to Sydney NS via the Cape Breton National Park with its spectacular headlands, vistas, mountains, lakes, and inlets. The scenery was spectacular, although not necessarily any better than others such as Big Sur. It was a day covering over 500 miles, and we have to leave the hotel at 2:30 tomorrow morning to catch the ferry to Newfoundland, so this will not include photos or any long dialog. More later.

Tomorrow: ferry to Port-aux-Basques Newfoundland and then on to Grand Falls-Windsor NF, another fairly long day.
