Hurricane Chantal blustered through as we started our 11th day of cycling...needless to say "some" of us enjoyed the excuse of a major storm, flooding, and state of emergency in many towns in order to take a taxi for our very last 50km ride into St John's. I was looking forwards to those 7501100km tail winds...but apparently they can be unsafe.

I said goodbye to this fascinating land that has a carnivorous plant for its provincial "flower" (flower ?) and headed back to Victoria.
