Today we went into the Rockies near Whistler to a smaller peak known fondly as "The Chief". Lisa's friend Michelle expertly drove us along the winding roads to our destination. There is a very vertical hike all the way up to a spectacular view. Steve, Ben, Lisa and Michelle braved the climb all the way to the top and were not dispointed! We got caught in traffic on the way back, and so we stopped to have a little snack and "beverage" on the patio of a really nice restaurant. Another evening of hanging out and eating dinner very late, and we were ready for bed!
