Now that summer has arrived and we are all suffering with the heat and the humidity, I thought it might be time to publish some of my pictures from the Vancouver Olympics this past Feburary. While the Olympics were an outstanding success, it will be difficult for anyone who was not there to get a feel for how alive the city was. Hopefully some of the pictures will help to convey the spirit that was present.

Vancouver Olympics
The symbol ofr the Olympics could be found all over Vancouver. There were massive long line-ups at the Bay to purchase Olympic hats, mitts sweaters etc.

Not sure what these windo washers were doning on the flag that covered the building.

Entire buildings dowtow were covered with massive Olympic posters

Canadian flgs were everywhere and walking down the streets people would start signing Oh Canada

It must have been an experience to see your pictureblown up to cover a godd portion of a building.

The Art Gallery
Admission to the art gallery was free resulting in line-ups around the block.

Yes, I know it was Febuary but this was Vancouver.

Robson Square Trip Line
There were 2 trip lines streching across Robson Square. The line-up was several hours.

There were numerous street performers both day and night.
