Our itinerary

We leave on our trip on late on Friday night (or early Saturday morning - however you like...). Since we've spent most of the last week dealing with a flood in our basement, we don't feel as ready as we could. I'm a bit of a stress-basket right now and so is Ozzie. Turns out, we could really use a vacation!

So, here's where we are going:

ITINERARY FOR SOUTHEAST ASIA

April 10 - TRAVEL DAY: 17 hours flight from Vancouver to Tawau
April 11 - TRAVEL DAY: finish flight and arrive in Tawau at 2pm - transfer to resort: www.sipadan-kapalai.com.
April 12 - 15: diving and sunning at Kapalai
April 16 - transfer to Tawau and fly to Sandakan (arrival 6pm) visit to rainforest centre.
April 17 - visit with organutans and monkeys at Sepilok.
April 18 - TRAVEL DAY: leave Sandakan at 8:30 am and fly all day to Siem Reap. Arrive at 8:30pm.
April 19 - 20: Angkor Wat. We are staying at Angkor Village hotel - www.angkorvillage.com
April 21 - TRAVEL DAY: flight to Danang at 10:30am; 5 hours and bus to Hoi An 45 minutes
April 22 - 25: Hoi An.
April 25 - TRAVEL DAY: return to Danang and take train to Hue : 4 hours
April 26 - 28: Hue
April 28 - TRAVEL DAY: Hue and overnight train (or flight) to Hanoi
April 29 - 30: Hanoi
May 1 - Hong Kong
May 2 - TRAVEL DAY: Flight home to Vancouver
