Canada Day Chores

How nationalistic are we? It's Canada Day and we're running around buying luggage, power adaptors and enough cat litter for kitty to sniff, scratch and scrape for a month while we bust loose out of our country of pride for greener pastures (or at least vineyards).

In eights days we will embark on what we hope to be a trip of a lifetime. A second ago it seemed like the adventure was 6 mths away yet now it's right around the corner. Guess I better book that rental car so we can enjoy memorable moments like driving through Provence. I picture myself hopelessly trying to play navigator while John patiently copes with French locals riding our rear and flashing their lights at our inability to travel over 200kms/hr through the florishing lavender fields.

Oh what awaits us on the other side of the sea? Excitement and anxiety overwhelms at the very thought!
