Arriving in Canada

Arrived in BC on Friday without problem-easy travel and easy car rental. Off to Horseshoe Bay- and across the ferry to Vancouver Island and Duncan which is in the Cowichan Bay area. Beautiful, cool and no humidity. The B&B is beaustiful as well. It is a working Water Buffalo Farm- They raise them for milk and the milk is used to make cheese.

Saturday we went to 5 local wineries having dinner at the last one- a 5 star dinner with wonderful wine. You have to enjoy the Candadian wines in Canada-they don't ship to the US- too bad.

Local bread and cheese also good.

Off to Ucuelet today (pronouced U-CUE- LET) -
