Heading out in T-40 days!

Hey Everyone!

Here is our new travel blog. We are heading out to Auckland, New Zealand in 40 days, leaving June 10. It is our honeymoon for a month, and then we are meeting 9 other people from our Church (Holy Trinity, Spruce Grove) for World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia! We did this travel blog thing our last trip and people seemed to enjoy it. I know its early, but we both have a busy May ahead of us, so we started a little planning ahead.

It will be our longest trip yet, but its also the furthest both of us have ever been from home. We are leaving behind our house in the care of the lovely Diane, as well as our beloved Newfoundlander lab, Boo. Not to mention, numerous friends, family, and our crazy jobs and lives for one heck of an adventure! It will be their winter, but hey, us Canadians can handle a wee bit of cold! Besides, who ever said 10 degrees was chilly?

So wish us luck in all our planning! We will keep you updated by June 12! Love you all,

Hi Kim and Dennis! Your trip in combination with a honeymoon in New Zealand sounds amazing!! I'm really looking forward to the wyd too. We're making the trip with an extra week backpacking to Melbourne. It's already in 4 weeks! Oh but then you're probably already over there! Haha I didn't realize that wroting this comment. I don't know if you can read your mail over there, but I wish you a GREAT time! And I really hope we can meet our second family down under:D lots of love, Ceciel
