2010 GMC 1/2 ton 4x42010 GMC 1/2 ton 4x42010 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4

Our home on wheels. The solar panel is mobile if we get the chance to park in some shade.
We are just a few days away from take off. Our current plan is to leave Feb 15 and be home again the beginning of May. The route is a loose plan, spending time in the Baja and then ferry over to the mainland Mexico and keep going. The plan is ...... Canada ?? USA ?? Mexico ?? Guatemala ?? El Salvador ?? Nicaragua ?? Costa Rica ?? Panama ?? Honduras ?? Belize ??, the only real timeline is to be in Playa del Carmen, Mexico to meet Ron’s daughter Lise and Derek on May 3rd.

We have our mode of transportation and sleeping quarters build and ready for packing, Ron did an incredible job building us a 35 square foot home in the back of a 1/2 ton where we will live for 75 days! We are very excited and can hardly wait to get on the road. Not all who wander are lost ♥️

We have a couch area that turns into a bed. The power system is charged by the truck while en route and a solar panel when stopped, inverter is mounted in the cab and two extra rv batteries under the hood, this will

power a bar fridge mounted in the back and our laptop and phones, oh and a small fan, no heat so we will hotel it for the first couple of nights. We have a 5 gallon portable toilet with a pop up change room for privacy. A small potable propane BBQ and small propane stove and just enough kitchen STUFF to get by. We will try a very minimalistic life for 75 days.

Now to get the truck packed and get this show on the road. Stay tuned and we will post as frequently as we have WiFi.

Ron made storage over the wheel wells with a lid so they can be used to sit on or place things on when not in motion, plus storage is a very big deal in 35 square feet

Have a safe trip
Quite an adventure. I do suggest getting a can of wasp and hornet blaster and keeping it handy. You can't have any weapons but that is an inexpensive cure for pests and banditos.
