Another Kevin organised trip today. We looked at a 13th century restored bridge and then visited the Roman settlement of Aspendos, with extensive remains of a 7k aqueduct and the best preserved ancient theatre in the world. The acoustics of the theatre are excellent and the singers of the party, Liz and the two Davids, gave a short recital to the tune of the Cornetto advert. The words were.

Lunch was open air and very leisurely at a hotel with extensive grounds sitting in the shade of huge trees.

Another lovely day was concluded with a stroll around Kursunlu Park up and down its many steps, along meandering paths by the river.
