We arrived in Dubai late after a stop in Bombay. From the airport we went to a city tour at crisp 38 grad celsius or about fahrenheit. Lots of construction going on but also some realestate problems. Loss of value last year about 40%. We visited the Burj Khalifa ( world's tallest building) to the observation deck on the 124th floor. 10m/s elevator speed. We saw the sundown on the Dubai Fountain from the top, looking like a minature.
In the evening, we took a Dhow ( local small boat) and cruised on the creek. Dubai is like Las Vegas. Artificial, artificial, artificial.
3 hours for 10 km distance in rush hour. Nice!
