Leaving Dubai

We are finally on our way after checking Bella into Beau’s Pet Hotel and a quick trip to the airport with Aunty Bab and Larry dropping us off.

Our Emirates flight was a familiar one as it is now the third time in three years that we have caught the Thursday 9:50 out of Adelaide Station!

We were both very tired and slept most of the way and for Andrew, it felt like a 2 hour flight instead of 13. We arrived in Dubai at 5:30 am walking across the tarmac to our now familiar bus in 33 degree heat. Even at that time of the day the airport was buzzing with thousands of people in the departure lounges. Our plane for Newcastle left around 7:45 am for an all daylight 7 hour flight to Newcastle.
