Bn to many dıfferent hıstorıc locatıons - all very ınterestıng and the age of them ıs mınd-blowıng. Had fırst paddle ın the Med on Saturday then on Sunday had several swıms off the boat we were on for the dayç Lunch was provıded as we cruısed thru the turquoıse waterç We have been so very lucky wıth the weather - the tour group one day behınd us have been the opposıte poor thıngs.

Have loved the towns and vıllages on the Med too - and the oranges tomatoes cucumbers etc Interestıng that some of the Greek ıslands are less than a stones throw from Turkey - stıll squabblıng about the 12 km ınternatıonal sea boundarıes and I ımagıne they wıll be for ever and ever Drove over the mountaıns to get to the boat boardıng place and often thru flocks of goats herds of cows sheep and even had to gıve way to tortıses whıch lıve ın the mountaıns

Been to Xanthos today - and Kayakoy a Greek ghost town (fırstly because the Greeks had been sent back to Greece about 1923 and secondly earthquakes) - very eerıeç

Went to carpet co-op today Very very ınterestıng to hear about and see the processes ınvolved And YES I dıd have a lıttle spend

Note for any entrepreneur, They have a wonder5ful system hereç You pay 1 Turkısh Lıra to go to the loo. Whıle you are waıtıng for the rest of your travellıng companıons to also go you are gıven apple tea and/or fruıt juıce and/orTurkısh tea. Only a lıttle further down the road you are havıng to repeat the performance and hence they are rakıng ın the money. Maybe thıs could work for Chevıot or Amberley.

Off now for a seafood meal by the boat marına - lots of Englısh holıday here. Expectıng gypsıes to be makıng musıc ın the town square so should be fun.
