Not so bad being here before the place is overrun with tourists. These warm pools could hold several hundred, but we were the only people around.

Making the run from one famous sight to the next would be tiring and boring. Seeing one every week or so, knowing that you get to ride away into obscurity at your leisure, makes a little brush with the tourist trail seem fun and amusing.

Very nice report about your adventure travel. Nice pictures and it looks like you do learn something new each time you're exploring the sometimes same regions. The fist impression is not always unchangeable, politics is not good info most of the time. Have fun and be safe....all 3 of you, Joe.
