So I played soccer today. I need some work. We took to bus to Saint John's Univeristy in western Rome and played some soccer for about 4 hours today. The kids from St. John's are all very nice, most of which are also pretty damn good at soccer. Us one the other hand (the six out of shape kids from Arkansas) were all pretty much getting kicked around, with the exception of Billy Quinn, the son of the humanities professor that is here this fall. We actually got a pretty intense pick up game going with a bunch of kids that just showed up to the court. Some of them were pretty good. I hope to go back a few more times and play again, but I don't know if we are going to have a weekend off before the weather starts getting cooler.
