After a pleasant walk and then Sunday lunch in the local pub with the Turkey crowd, we drove to my sister Ruth’s who lives only 30 miles from where we were. It was tea there and then the journey home where we arrived at about 9.30 in the evening.

This trip gave us the opportunity of visiting several culturally and scenically different countries and seeing many diverse sights both man made and natural. The weather, most of the time, was dry and except for the last week not too hot. We were very lucky to have just missed the heavy rain and floods which affected the Danube and other rivers. We drove about 4,500 miles.
