Southport - pier

View towards sea

To Southport we drove at 31st of May 2009. We heard previously there is a long pier and very wide beach during outflow. We got there soon after outflow and eventually we walked towards sea above quarter. When we got to sea I reminded myself and to my friends Mad Max film - everything around us looked like scenery from this masterpiece movie. Especially shells of dead mussels, everywhere were many of them.

Afterwards we directed to pier. we came back to town to get to pier from land side. There were some motorcycles and we spent a lot of time to watch them (-: Afterwards we were walking along the pier towards sea and we noticed we had to cross over the small lake (it calls Marine Lake) before we got to the end of pier over the beach. Sea was withdrew beyond pier and under it was only drying sand because that day the weather was really sunny. There were nothing interesting except food as ice cream. We admired for a few minutes the horizon and we decided to go back home.
