The pants are packed and the hotels been reconfirmed 3 times. Some might say this is excessive, Nic suggests thorough.

With fear of dissappointing what i'm sure is an ever growing army of loyal followers (gran that's you) of this the detailed account of our travels. This is not actually a blog entry (well of course it's a blog entry) but it's not a proper one full of the sights and smells of far flung places (serious the Internet can do that now), but it's not just a test either. No, it's an introduction. Our way (well mine, Nic's playing with a camera) of starting things off and a chance to, in future, perhaps look back at a time when this big adventure lay before us like pins in a map (actually it was a whole heap like pins in a map til it was dropped and they fell out - that's how we lost Laos (obviously we didn't 'lose' Laos and anyway it wasn't really ours in the first place)).



So once again it's a selfish and selfsatisfying exercise, oh well.
