MARCH 16th

Routine has set in today. Wake up, free breakfast, bus to Swansea University, etc. Myself, Micheal, and Derek took a train ride to the Swansea projects. We filmed some of the not so flattering aspects of Swansea. It was really crazy to see how run down some of these areas were. Swansea has these really rich beautiful areas, and then tucked away there are many ghettos. We went to a youth organization associated with Discovery and filmed some interviews and B-roll there. When we hopped back onto the train, we did not have a ride waiting for us... so we decided to explore the city. The city square was really cool. It reminded me of a relaxed version of a shopping square you might see in New York City. We spent a lot of time just admiring all of the architecture around us. We had lunch at Mcdonalds, and did some shopping. We caught a bus back to the University, and then back to the Norton House. During the evening, the entire class went out for some dancing!
