Conwy Castle
Conwy Castle from distance Conwy Castle is located nearby bridge over the bay. It is visible from distance because of it has big monumental stone built out figure. This castle had been built by king Edward I after defeating the Welsh people in 1283. First lord of Conwy castle was king's son Edward II. British tradition of calling all of heirs to the throne have roots in Conwy. This castle looks as typical castle if I can say like than, it has no any bizarre dressings or architecture forms. Mighty city walls have saved up to present times.
Inside we can admire just the ruins, there are no exhibition. Visitors can walk over whole of castle area and climb upstairs to top all of numerous castle towers.
Town Conwy is nice, visitor can walk around and do shopping. I bought there a bottle of tasty rum.
King Edward I was one of the most important English rulers and in fact he created an English identify because he as first lord had started to use English language instead French as his predecessors had done.
