We caught the 09.50 Calais Dover ferry enjoying the luxury of the Club Lounge during the crossing. The drive home was uneventful with the usual delays on the M25 and we arrived soon after lunch having completed 5,634 miles since leaving on 12 September.

The professional organisation, planning and support by Kevin and Nurcan Griffiths on behalf of GB Privilege has meant that during the trip we were able to experience many of the outstanding features in Western and Central Turkey and stay at convenient and often beautifully positioned camp sites. We also had the opportunity of visiting other locations not on the itinerary. The fellowship and friendship extended by the other members of the party has been a real bonus. The one thing we have missed is the excitement of entering the unknown when working things out for ourselves which we have always enjoyed on our self guided journeys.
