The return home

We left Ypres at 8.30am, drove to Calais, had a quick trip through Eurotunnel and were home by lunchtime to a garden and vegetable patch that had progressed well during our absence thanks to Pete who had looked after it for us.

This was a trip of contrasts. Perfect weather for the first month and changeable conditions for the last two weeks. Beautiful Italian Sardinia and spectacular French Corsica. But it was of course another delightful expedition in our Muvi. We drove 4,200 miles and saw only one other British owned campervan in each island.
