Sarah and I stopped off in England on our way back from India before we connected to fly to Brazil. It was a great few days – almost a week. The festive season was in full swing as we hung out with family and friends, ate and drank loads, and managed to get some sightseeing in also. The fact that it was bitter cold and snowy accentuated the Christmas atmosphere.
Many thanks to Conor and Hayley who put us up in their lovely new Leighton Buzzard home, cooked some magnificent meals and showed us a right ol’ time! Darren and Aine for bringing us a cool pub crawl which ended with the obligatory kebabs at 4am, my Dad and Uncle for collecting us and putting up with us, our mate Hugh for his stellar drinking capabilities and efforts to meet with us. It was brilliant! We enjoyed our mini Christmas before heading to South America.
