The flat
Isnt it cute We have arrived!!!
The flight was actually very smooth with no delays and very little turbulence.
Shane's worries that flyglobespan was a one way ticket into the Atlantic seem to have been unfounded.
Unfortunately Meg's bag did not fare so well, but we are sure it will arrive soon ;p
Customs was interesting...Here is essentially what the agent said to us:
1. You have no proof that you are employed in Canada
2. You have no proof that you have any money
3. You have no return tickets
Luckily we are charming and our will is law!
Meaghan's relative James, who is a really cool guy, was nice enough to let us stay at his flat in Barnes.
This is really a treat! We can get over our Jet lag and make our plans for the next month or so without being all stressed out and staying in an overpriced hostel.
James took us to a nice quaint, quintessential London pub on the Thames where we enjoyed a few pints before bed.
That's it for now.

Well you've had quite the start but all in all it not that bad. You didn't take a swim on the way and what a quaint flat to be staying in and you've already had your first London pint. Hopefully the missing bag will turn up soon with it's own story to tell. Everyone here says "hi". Love you, Mom.
