We took the bus into Exeter and spent the day looking around the historic sights all of which were surprising close to the bustling main shopping street. After a pleasant lunch in a small bistro we had an extended tour of the beautiful cathedral from a very enthusiastic guide.
When we got back to the campsite the wind and rain started and it became quite cold, so we were able to test the heating system which seemed to cope very well.
