Monday - Thursday
Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, Centre of the Fudgiverse Just spent three days with Jackie and Paul who live in the most quintessential village called Bradford on Avon. It looks just like a postcard of what you expect England's green and pleasant hills look like with three hundred year old weavers cottages and briges over the river and the canal. Its about 15 minutes to Bath Spa a very old Roman town. Jackie and Paul were very generous tour guides and made sure we saw all the sights, the Roman Baths, the Abbey, the circus and the Crescent. Don't forget the Sally Lunn shop. Sally opened her shop and started making iced buns in 1500 andsomething. Since it was our 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday we all went out to dinner in a lovely resturant in Bath. Having a growing fudge busines running out of the home kiitchen meant we would be press ganged into Pudge facking. Let me tell you pack one eat one wears of very quicky. We continued to improve our packing skills with carful quality control and how were we paid?.........Fudge of course..... A georgeous area and a lovely few days. We have now
arrived in hong Kong and are sitting in a lovely room overlooking the harbour until Monday middday, but this is the last blog. I'm over it....see ya Tuesday.
