Old York is a hell of a town.

So, quick one before dinner and my walking ghost tour of the "Most Haunted City in England." Good day so far, hanging out with some peope, seeing the sights. Having dinner in 30 minutes, but wanted to post something today, in case I don't get the chance later.

Getting to be better friends with the Australians, very nice people, as you would expect. The ride in was rather uneventful with one kind of cool stop off. The truck stops in the UK are awesome. Really cool restauraunts, slot machine rooms, big bathrooms with strange urinals. Would have taken a pic of one, but was not sure on the British attitude towards bathroom photography. It was very nice, almost bought a DVD of "Hot Fuzz" but it would have worked out to $40, and that seemed a bit excessive. But not a bad stop.

Another nice hotel room, but the bed has no box spring, just a mattress on a board, that is a bit strange. Tonight we are going to an 80's nightclub around the corner, should be a laugh. Only downside to the day is the return of the British Weather, nice and drizzley. But still, good times.

I'll see what condition I'm in and try to write more later.

One more thing, even though I've been here a few days, the London Underground stop called "Cockfosters" is still hilarious.

truck stops
Yep, the truck stops out there are awesome. You can find some cool shit there. Make sure to eat a bunch of Cadbury Dairy Milk, the Flake bar in particular (I hear the snowflakes are good too, but I like the original, especially when poking out the top of an ice cream cone). I introduced my tour buddies to the Cadbury Dairy Milk, and we were all in agreement-- it's by far the best chocolate in the world (until you get to Ireland where the Dairy Milk is even better-- had to do with the milk fat, I think). Remember-- in Scotland, crink TENNANTS VELVET. And in Ireland-- KILLKENNY. J
