I left for London from Boston at 8pm Tuesday evening. It is now 3:30pm London time (10:30am Rhode Island time) and I still have not gotten a wink of sleep!
The flight over here was a piece of cake! The sun was setting when we left, and it was already sunny when we approached London. Everyone arrived and met up as planned. We quickly made our way to the Tube Station at the airport and headed to Liverpool Station. It was about a 45 minute train ride and as I was about to exit the Tube....a British woman voice came over the loud speaker and said "mind the gap"....basically telling passengers to watch their step because there is a huge gap between the train and the landing!
