Robyn and I made our way to see the famous changing of the guard this morning. We stopped for a moment at Buckingham Palace but then decided to go over to King James Palace to see the guards get ready for the changing instead. It was much more fun and we got to really see them up close and personally as they went through their inspection et all. Got a great view of the band as well.

From there we walked down to Trifalger Square where we got a mediterranean bite to eat and then browsed through the National Gallery before catching a free 1PM concert at St. Martin in the Fields. It was a lovely little trio (piano, violin, cello). The violinist really was emotional and her face was mesmerizing to watch as she played.

After that we popped through a chalk pavement picture over to Covent Garden for some people watching and general revelry.
