Decing last minute on where to go, when you´ve got just one day off from work is not really that hard, mainly because of the fact that you have less choices. So I chose Brighton..., never been there and was quite excited to see the city. When you look it up on the internet the first thing you see is the Brighton Pier. Journey from Windsor-Claphan Junction-Brighton took 1,5h, which was not long at all. Once you arrive you get to walk a long street leading up to the sea and the famous Brighton Pier. Whenever I travel somewhere I tend not to expect anything from the country or place, just for the sake of not being upset later. When we came to the coast it was windy and cold, but apart from that the view was stunning. Brighton Pier is just an extending platform leading up to the sea, with Fish and Chips, Donuts and Ferriswheel all around you. If you go there to see the view and find some peace- just don´t. It´s all business and children oriented. The walk along the coast was a nice one. A quick stop at a coffee shop and then we went to see the famous Royal Pavilion- a very exotic palace that served as a pleasure place close to the see for George IV. and that is definitely worth seeing. You get to visit all the rooms as well as the gardens....Final notice: 1.going there for one day is enough 2.pack warm clothes 3.you get to see many individuals walking the streets
