Travel Day - Calahorra, Bilbao, London, Brighton

Long day today - left Calahorra at 7am for the 2 hour drive to Bilbao (we were a little early for our flight, could have slept a bit longer).

Then our 2 hour flight from Bilbao to London. Got stuck on the tarmac in London (in the rain) as a plane was stuck at the gate we were meant to use! While we were waiting, saw the new Qantas Dreamliner taxi past - the one that does the Perth to London direct (Kate didn't believe me, had to check with Matt!)

Then 2 hours of who knows what to organise the pre-booked hire car!

Then the 2 hour drive through the rain and the holiday traffic from London to Brighton. Brighton was cold, windy and rainy, but we could see the beach (even if it wasn't sand) and the (famous) Brighton Pier from the window of our hotel room. Still decided to eat in!
